KVB XL (011417_1)

Coolant Filling Device for Trucks and Industrial Engines - XL version

KVB XL is designed to run out the filling process of cooling systems (after repair or even first filling). After the filling procedure there is no need of bleeding.

A special venturi assembly is generating vacuum by workshop pressure (6 - 10 bar).

During the vacuum generation a tightness-test is run out in order to avoid the filling of a leaky coolant system. After a positive tighness-test of the cooling system the filling process can be started.

Modern thermomanagement systems (e.g. engine cooling system, air intake intercooler, battery cooling etc.) have to fullfill many purposes. These thermomanagement systems usually need to have a better filling grade compared to “traditional“ engine cooling systems. With a better (deeper) final vacuum, better filling results can be obtained. Of course all components exponed to the vacuum level must be designed and manufactured to withstand these physical conditions.

  • Operating Voltage: 12 VDC, suitable for mobile use
  • Current Consumption: ca. 3.5 A

Accessory to the Engine-Coolant-Filler KVB.

EV 30_12VDC can be used with any of the Leitenberger very successfull Engine-Coolant-Filler KVB and it is delivered „ready to use“. In the delivery of EV 30_12VDC no adaptator towards the expansion tank is included.
